DescriptionCalOSHA 5192(e)(8) requires refresher training each year. Students must attend the entire session to obtain a certificate from the instructor. The content will include using scenarios, games and interactive activities to discuss the latest Hazards encountered including:
  • Fire Debris Heavy metal issues
  • Outdoor and Indoor HeatStress -June 20,2024
  • Lithium Ion Battery safety
  • 2024Emergency Response Guidebook usage
  • Using the ERG to modelreleases
  • ASKRAIL for traininformation-June 24, 2025
  • Kahoot will be used more than once with prizes

ObjectiveThis session will provide participants an introduction and access to web-deployed, immersive 8-hour HAZWOPER video game-based training.
DescriptionParticipants will be introduced to web-deployed, self-paced, video game training software that provides 8-hour HAZWOPER training in 3d environments with interactive features. Registrants receive full access to complete training post-class to earn a certificate. They will learn or refresh their knowledge on key HAZWOPER topics with lessons created by a veteran state certified HAZMAT instructor. PLEASE BRING A LAPTOP for the best experience.
