This session will provide participants with an overview of the DTSC Emergency Permit Program.
Description
DTSC administers the Emergency Permit program as outlined in CCR 22 66270.61. These permits are meant to address situations that are an "imminent and substantial endangerment to human health or the environment." This course will give an overview of the DTSC process and how it might affect local jurisdictions. This course will also provide real examples of past emergency permits issued for various sites throughout California.
