Description
This course will provide an overview on Lithium-Ion battery (LIB) fires. It will review laboratory and field study results on chemical emissions, health effects and cases of injuries and hospitalizations. This course will also discuss the public health impacts of large-scale storage, transportation and disposal of LIBs as hazardous waste and cleanup after disasters.
