SCOTT WOODFIN, HazMat - Palo Alto Fire Dept

Scott has over 30 years of dedicated service as an emergency responder. This seasoned leader has made significant contributions in firefighting, fire prevention, hazardous materials management, and emergency medical services. Currently he is the Assistant Fire Marshal and supervises and trains Hazardous Materials Inspectors, ensures compliance with regulations and conducts complex inspections and investigations. His roles also include being a Fire/Arson Investigator, a Terrorist Liaison Officer and an Accelerant Detection K9 Handler. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration and Fire Investigation and has achieved and maintains multiple advanced certifications that demonstrate his leadership skills, commitment to community safety, and mentorship of emergency response professionals making him an invaluable asset to the Palo Alto Fire Department and the communities it serves.
