ARLEEN GURFIELD, Supervising Environmental Health Specialist - San Diego County DEHQ

My name is Arleen Gurfield. I have worked for the County of San Diego for over 15 years and am currently a Supervising Environmental Health Specialist (SEHS) for the Hazardous Materials Division (HMD). As a SEHS for over 7 years, I oversee the inspection, compliance, and enforcement of 3,500 facilities. I am also the technical lead for hazardous waste in San Diego County and am the Co-Chair for the Southern California hazardous waste Technical Advisory Group. My technical specialties are in Research Laboratories, Healthcare Facilities, and Shooting Ranges.
