Maria Baker is a Supervising Waste Control Engineering Inspector II with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. Maria has worked for the County of Los Angeles for over 25 years. Maria Baker currently oversees a staff of 22 inspectors. She performs oversight of staff engaged in the inspection of commercial and industrial facilities within the unincorporated County Area, and 37 contract cities, as well as compliance with the Underground Storage Tank (UST) program within the unincorporated area and 77 contract cities. Maria Baker has participated in a number of statewide investigations.
