Jodie J. Gregory, Emergency Management and PBX Operations Manager at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. At UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, my primary responsibility is the development, coordination, training, and education of our Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness Program. I oversee the programs comprehensive framework, which includes creating and implementing emergency plans, conducting drills and simulations, and ensuring that all staff are well-prepared to act swiftly and efficiently in the face of any emergency. I also manage PBX Communications. This responsibility involves ensuring that our communication systems are robust and reliable, particularly during emergencies when clear and uninterrupted communication is crucial. My work ensures that our hospital can maintain seamless operations and coordinate effectively with other departments and external agencies, which is essential for a well-functioning emergency response. In addition to my hospital role, Im an adjunct instructor for FEMAs Center for Domestic Preparedness. I teach courses on Health Care Leadership and Decontamination training for Mass Casualty Incidents. I'm also a Hazmat/Hazwoper Instructor for all classes.
