KATY MCNAMARA, Associate Professor - CSUN

Katherine A. McNamara, CIH, PhD Associate Professor California State University Northridge Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Katherine McNamara instructs and mentors graduate and undergraduate students in environmental policy, environmental health science, exposure science, and research methodology. Her research interests include assessing traditional workplace and community exposures to hazardous substances, in addition to characterizing work organizational factors and community characteristics that improve health. She is currently investigating occupational heat exposures among low wage workers, and evaluating interventions to improve climate change resilience in urban communities.
