Juan Garcia Associate Health Physicist California Department of Public Health Radiologic Health Branch Radiological Assessment Unit I currently support environmental radiation monitoring, decontamination and decommissioning of nuclear facilities, confirmatory surveying/sampling, radiological dose and risk assessment, and offsite environmental radiation monitoring at nuclear power plants. A large portion of my current duties specifically include supporting Branch emergency planning as well as community outreach and training on radiological preparedness.
