GINGER HILTON, Senior Environmental Scientist - CA Dept of Public Health Ginger Hilton, Senior Environmental Scientist Specialist as the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator & Planner for the Environmental Management Branch (EMB), Center for Environmental Health (CEH), California Department of Public Health. Ginger works within the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Program for the Environmental Management Branch within the CEH with emergency preparedness and environmental health. As the Emergency preparedness Coordinator and Planner, she assists with field staff safety prior, during and post deployment. She is also the Respiratory Program Administrator for EMB. She assists the CEH environmental health coordinator on a projects to bring the CDCs Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response (EHTER) workshops training intended to improve emergency preparedness for disaster and recovery efforts to counties and regions across California. Ginger has also been activated to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. She is also still deployed to the CDPH Medical and Health Coordination Center (MHCC) Logistics Section to support Emergency Support Function (ESF 8) stakeholder with an incident-specific public health and medical role related to COVID-19 and also the 2020 & 2021 Wildfires responses. |
