KEVIN VALDEZ, Environmental Health Specialist - San Diego County DEHQ

My name is Kevin Valdez. I am an Environmental Health Specialist III with the County of San Diego, Hazardous Materials Division. Currently, I conduct field inspections of businesses in North County San Diego that have complex processes, large inventories, large footprints or hazardous waste treatment. I also provide group support as by reviewing NOV's, provide training to peers, and work on updating internal and external guidance documents as the supporting HMBP Technical Lead. As the lead field inspector for the North County group, I also conduct UST inspections at non-retail facilities and conduct Large APSA inspections in the area.
