LISA BROWN, Deputy DA - Sacramento DA's Office

Ms. Brown was a Senior Staff Counsel for the California Air Resources Board from 1997-1998 and 2011-2015. From 1998 to 2011, she was the Assistant Counsel for Enforcement at the California Environmental Protection Agency where she chaired the Cal/EPA Enforcement Training Team, the State Enforcement Task Force and the Border Task Force. From 1986-97, she was a Deputy DA for San Joaquin County where she created the Environmental Crimes Prosecutions Unit and the San Joaquin County Environmental Crimes Task Force. Ms. Brown has been a California representative to the Western States Project and a member of their Training Committee. Ms. Brown has been an instructor for the Western States Project, the CUPA Conference, the California District Attorneys Association, the California Hazardous Materials Investigators Association, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers Advanced Environmental Crimes Training Program. She is currently a Deputy District Attorney for Sacramento County (part time) and a trainer for EPA.
