This course will provide a general overview of the recycling exemptions and exclusions for hazardous wastes.
Description
The focus of the course is Health and Safety Code (H&SC) Section 25143.2. Students will gain a basic knowledge of the California regulatory and statutory provisions related to hazardous waste recycling and learn to apply statutory and regulatory recycling exemptions/exclusions to hazardous waste. The corresponding federal regulations are discussed as well as guidance to determine applicability of hazardous waste recycling exemptions/exclusions.
