ROB DAVENPORT, . - San Mateo County HR

Rob Davenport is the Wellness Program Manager for the County of San Mateo and brings with him 30 years of experience in health and fitness industry. Prior to joining the County of San Mateo he held numerous leadership positions in the public and private sectors, including: Wellness Consultant with Wells Fargo Insurance, Wellness Program Manager at NASAs Johnson Space Center, Wellness Program Administrator for Pacific Coast Companies, Inc., Health Advocacy Program Manager for WorkCare, and as a Fitness Director for the US Navy. Rob started his career as a Sports Science Technician with the US Olympic Committee. Rob graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Science and attended graduate school at the University of Toledo. His thesis investigated the effects of sports drinks on plasma volume during exercise.

ROBERT CHUTE, Vice President - Tractor Supply

Robert is responsible for a national environmental risk management program known as the Tenant Inspection Program (TIP). The program encompasses in excess of 145 million square feet of commercial and light industrial property located in 32 markets throughout the United States. Robert manages environmental due diligence activities on behalf of TCC and various national institutional clients. Robert has successfully interacted with local, state and federal regulatory agencies to resolve a myriad of environmental issues. Since joining Trammell Crow Company in 2005, Robert has been providing environmental risk management guidance to aid in the development of real estate across the country. Robert's systematic and detailed approach to mitigating contingent liability and construction risk enables our partners to successfully transact the deal. Robert has provided environmental risk management guidance on over 600 real estate transactions.

ROBERT ETTINGER, Senior Principal - Geosyntec Consultants

Robert Ettinger is a Senior Principal in Geosyntecs Santa Barbara office, and provides technical and litigation support on risk based decision making, corrective action implementation, and subsurface fate and transport modeling for contaminated land sites. He has been studying subsurface vapor transport phenomena for environmental corrective action planning for over 25 years. Mr. Ettinger has authored key papers discussing modeling vapor migration to indoor air, including the Johnson and Ettinger 1991 model that is currently used in many regulatory programs. Additionally, he has consulted on various investigation and modeling studies for dry cleaning, gasoline retail, manufacturing, Superfund, and Brownfield redevelopment sites. Mr. Ettinger earned his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley in 1989 and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University in 1986.

Bob works for CDAA representing small counties in statewide and multiple counties prosecutions. Bob is a sworn Deputy District Attorney in the counties of: Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Humboldt, Kings, Lassen, Lake, Madera, Mendocino, Merced, Nevada, Mariposa, Placer, San Benito Stanislaus, Sutter, Tuolumne, and Yuba. Bob has been a Deputy District Attorney for over 30 years. He spent 22 years supervising the Marin County District Attorneys Consumer Protection Unit which included the prosecution of environmental violations, false advertising, unlawful business practices, elder abuse, security fraud, embezzlements, major fraud, insurance fraud, real estate fraud, asset forfeiture and political corruption. Bob has authored numerous monographs and articles on criminal and civil prosecution and has been an instructor for Hastings College of Law, Golden Gate University College of Law, CDAA, POST, in addition to presentations for state and local agencies.

Ross Steenson is a senior engineering geologist (specialist) with the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board. He received his B.S. in geology from The College of William and Mary and his M.S. in geology from Miami University. His professional experience includes environmental site investigations and remediation. He has practiced in this field since 1989. He holds professional geologist and certified hydrogeologist registrations in California. He joined the Regional Water Board in 2008. In his current role, he provides technical support to staff, oversees a small number of cases, and is responsible for developing and maintaining guidance. His technical topics include vapor intrusion, contaminated groundwater discharges to surface water, contaminated sediment, and risk assessment.
