I have about 30 facilities where I conduct monthly Designated Operator inspections. I am the Environmental Consultant for a large company who manages Federal Facilities at Border Crossing on the California/Mexico. I complete CERS submissions for UST owners and sub-contract with several UST contractors. I also conduct Hazardous Materials and SPCC annual trainings and assist businesses in follow-ups after agency inspections. I was previously employed by Orange County HCA CUPA for 25 years prior to my retirement in 2014.

Dr. Christie Bautista serves as the first Environmental Health & Safety Manager for The Huntington Library, Art Gallery, and Botanical Gardens, a non-profit organization. Charged with creating a "Culture of Safety", she provides enterprise-wide leadership over the institution's environmental regulatory compliance and occupational safety programs. Dr. Bautista serves as the institution's Safety Committee Chair and the Safety Officer for its Emergency Operations Center. Because of her accomplishment as the first EHS manager with The Huntington and a former California gubernatorial appointee under two administrations, she is recognized as one of the 2023 Amazing Women in History by the California Air Resources Board & California Enviornmental Protection Agency's Women in the Workplace Affinity Group. She performs a wide variety of consultative and analytical assignments related to hazardous waste ID number processing and management and manifest data processing. The Business Operations Unit issues and maintains hazardous waste ID numbers, processes transporter registrations, administers the annual ID Number Verification Questionnaire, is the product owner of DTSC's Hazardous Waste Tracking System, and evaluates the eVQ System and HWTS to make upgrades and enhancements.
