Charles Fator, Hanby Environmental and OMG Solutions

Hanby Environmental and OMG Solutions have partnered to introduce The New Paradigm in Remediation and Emergency Response. The combination of their two products is the perfect solution to dealing with hydrocarbon contamination in real time. Addressing the contamination on-site and in real time, saves both time and money, while lowering the environmental impact. Live demonstrations of this New Paradigm will be performed jointly at The 2018 CUPA Conference. Come by to see it live. Hanby colorimetric test method was discovered in 1986 by John Hanby for identifying the presence of hydrocarbons in soil or water. The Hanby method offers a revolutionary solution to obtaining on-site samples that potentially contain petroleum related substances. Field testing is inherently costly, time consuming and, quite often, unreliable. The Hanby method is designed to provide a precise color indication of the concentration of petroleum (gasoline, diesel, crude oil, etc) in field samples. This rapid, accurate method won immediate recognition by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, state regulatory agencies throughout the United States and various international regulatory agencies around the world. OMG SOLUTIONS was created for the fact that everyday there is an oil spill of some kind, in fact there are several daily. There truly never has been an efficient way of cleaning up these spills other that the same old "dig and haul" method. In that case, all contaminated soil is dug out and hauled off to a disposal site and the soil is then put through an incinerator and the hydrocarbons are virtually burned out of the soil. This of course is a very expensive task and take generally many weeks to perform. With the new to the USA State of the Art Technology OMG SOLUTIONS uses a product called ELMN8 and this product breaks down the hydrocarbon chains and actually turns the hydrocarbons into a non hazardous dust and becomes non-hazardous to its environment, whether it is on ground or water. There are no microbes or enzymes like found in other chemicals that break down or eat away oil to be left behind and still cause harm to the environment. We have been having tremendous success with this product on several noted oil spills in South Texas. Once as much of the oil is sucked up as possible OMG SOLUTIONS steps in. Not only can OMG SOLUTIONS save you time and money on your next oil spill, but we do our part in taking care of the environment at the same time. When can our leading technology and our OMG GURUS come to your rescue.

Ben Nell, HCL Labels

HCL Labels, Inc, which stands for Hazard Communication Labels, has been a registered trademark since the 60s. We are a team of health and safety-conscious individuals, who want to ensure that companies of all sizes inform and protect their workforce from work-related hazards. All of our products are proudly made in the United States of America. HCL Labels, Inc., specializes in the development of chemical-resistant labels that provide important safety information for workers handling hazardous chemicals. Industries involving hazardous chemicals in their processes are required to comply with OSHAs Hazard Communication Federal and State labeling regulations, also known as the workers Right-to-Know law. Over the years, HCL has compiled the largest library of chemical labels available, positioning us as the main provider of hazard communication labels and creating our niche. The labels are developed primarily from information extracted from Safety Data Sheets provided by our clients. In 2012, OSHA updated the Hazard Communication standards to be aligned with the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). Employers compliance with the revised Hazard Communication standard is now required, as of June 1, 2016. In order best to help our clients, HCL now has an unmatched selection of over 700 ready-made GHS-compliant labels available for immediate shipment, and the ability to create custom GHS labels to fit our clients needs promptly and exactly. Knowing that industries handling hazardous chemicals also need to comply with environmental, transportation and associated safety requirements, HCL has expanded its product line to include hazardous waste labels and signs, transportation (DOT) placards and labels, NFPA placards, and laboratory and general safety signs and labels. Our OSHA GHS hazard communication labels remain our core product line and continue to be our powerful advantage over our competition.
