DescriptionThis course is a comprehensive overview of the Industrial General Permit (IGP), including No Exposure Certification (NEC) and Notice of Intent (NOI) requirements for industrial facilities. The course will further describe BMPs, monitoring, and how releases of hazardous materials can be a potential source of contaminants and lead to discharges to surface waters. And finally, real world examples will provide guidance to avoid common violations.

DescriptionThe course will review the fee accountability requirements in Title 27, the establishment of necessary and reasonable costs for program implementation, annual review, and accounting for single fees collected. Single fee and penalty monies management will be presented. CUPA representatives will provide their strategies to successfully increase fees and share their experiences with managing their fee accountability and system fee programs.

DescriptionThis class will review websites and webpages, all of which are publicly available, that are full of detailed information which can be used to investigate sites, review compliance, and to see what is around a given area. We will review the sources of data and how to navigate, filter, and find information. We will review the Regulated Site Portal, RCRA Info, the Hazardous Waste Tracking System (HWTS) and more.
