This session will highlight challenges and key components of vapor intrusion investigations.
   Description
This presentation will elaborate on the challenges and key components for an efficient and successful vapor intrusion assessment. Challenges encountered with vapor intrusion investigations include determining liabilities for a small site within a regional plume. There are key components to a successful vapor intrusion investigation of over 540 homes and 3 commercial businesses. The challenges are discussed and components that were proven effective in facilitating the modification of field activities to incorporate principles of the new Cal/EPA Draft Supplemental Vapor Intrusion Guidance, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
