This session will provide participants with an understanding of how acute stress can be translated into potentially lifesaving body language skills.
The course is divided into two parts. Part 1 explains the physiology of acute stress using the "fight, flight, or freeze" concept. How the body and mind reacts to high stress, threats, and emergencies is explained. Part 2 explains how the physiology can be translated into patters of body language signs. Together, the two parts of the class come together by allowing participants to view and analyze videos demonstrating the signs.
