   Objective
This session will provide participants with an overview of the IMAAC, explain what the IMAAC is, and detail how CUPAs can activate the IMAAC.
   Description
This course is an overview of the IMAAC, a no-cost FEMA resource that can be activated by government entities to access federal models for CBRNE and HazMat incidents which pose a threat to human health and safety. This course will explain what the IMAAC is, how the IMAAC works, what products the IMAAC can provide, and how CUPAs can activate the IMAAC. Finally, past examples of IMAAC activations for HazMat events will be presented.

A brief introduction to the Interagency Modeling and Atmospheric Assessment Center, or IMAAC, a free resource for federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial government entities. IMAAC provides the singular federal position on atmospheric modeling for CBRNE or HAZMAT incidents.
