This session will provide an implementation approach overview of the Federal General Duty Clause, as a benchmark for California H&SC Section 25331.2(b)
   Description
In 2015, the California legislature amended the California Health and Safety Code (H&SC) Chapter 6.95 to add a general duty provision similar to Clean Air Act (CCA) Section 112(r)(1). The course is an introductory overview of the California General Duty Clause (GDC), including the legislative background and requirements. The course will further examine the implementation of GDC's under CCA Section 112(r)(1) as a model for the California program.
