   Objective
To provide an overview of IIAR Standard 6 "Standard for Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Closed-Circuit Ammonia Refrigeration Systems".
   Description
Mechanical Integrity (MI) is critical to the safe operation of a chemical process. IIAR published a new standard in May 2019 which prescribes the minimum requirements for inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of closed-circuit ammonia refrigeration systems. Once adopted by AHJs, ANSI/IIAR 6-2019 will affect MI programs that are covered by CalARP. This presentation will provide an overview of IIAR 6 and examine important elements of MI
