   Objective
To present lessons learned from past cases that involved chemistry in the mitigation of emergency response incidents.
   Description
This presentation includes case studies of hazardous material incidents and the role that chemistry played in their resolution. The case studies were a collection of incidents that happened in the County of Los Angeles, but could easily have happened in any county of the state. The types of incidents include drug labs, freeway spills, air releases, fires/explosions, and abandoned chemicals.
