   Objective
After attending RWQCB class, attendees will be provided with updates on the Clean-Up Fund, SCAP and RUST. those attending DTSC class will be given updates on new guidance documents and key activities in the Cleanup Program at the DTSC.
   Description
The RWQCB presentation will discuss Clean-Up Fund updates plus provide an overview of the SCAP and RUST Program. DTSC will discuss recent guidance documents and key activities at the Dept. Site Cleanup Program and the CA Unified Program agencies, including: HH Risk Assessment Notes (focus Note 8) and on Recommendations for Evaluating PCBs at Contaminated Sites; PFAS: Reg. Overview; and Reference Guides for the VCA program.

Replacing, Removing, or Upgrading Underground Storage Tanks (RUST) Program Information
The State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Financial Assistance administers the Replacing, Removing or Upgrading Underground Storage Tanks (RUST) grant and loan programs to assist eligible small business owners and operators of USTs within California to comply with Federal State and local regulatory standards in order to improve and protect groundwater quality. RUST Program information and eligibility requirements will be presented with the goal to better educate the regulatory community and the jurisdictions they serve.
Updates from the DTSC Human and Ecological Risk Office (HERO)
The presentation will provide updates from the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) Human and Ecological Risk Office (HERO), including the current regulations and guidance documents on human health risk assessment, with focus on the latest Human Health Risk Assessment Note 8 on Recommendations for Evaluating PCBs at Contaminated Sites in California.
Perfluoro and PolyfluoroAlkylSubstances (PFAS): Regulatory Overview (California)
A brief background on Per and polyfluoro alkyl substances (PFAS) will be presented, followed by regulatory guidance for evaluating contaminated sites in California. Areas of current research and challenges in the field will also be discussed.
