   Objective
After attending this class, attendees will understand how a compliance incentive program in San Diego County is helping industry and regulators work collaboratively using education over enforcement.
   Description
San Diego County CUPA has successfully implemented a compliance incentive program that focuses on education over enforcement; the program is Education, Process Improvements and Compliance for Environmental Risk Reduction, better known as EPIC. EPIC's goal is to reduce the most common violations found in the San Diego, CA Biotech and R&D industry sector, freeing up the CUPAs resources to help other companies gain compliance.
