CUPA Regions

Regional Forums generally meet bimonthly to quarterly, and serve as a way for local agencies to communicate with each other, provide information to and from the Cal CUPA Forum Board and to hear from state agency representatives on issues that impact local agencies.

Regional Forums

Regional Forums generally meet bimonthly to quarterly and provide a place for local agencies to communicate, coordinate, and share information.

Regional Forums provide information to and from the California CUPA Forum Board and give local agencies an opportunity to hear directly from state agency representatives regarding issues that affect local programs.

Regional participation strengthens statewide communication while ensuring local implementation issues, training needs, and technical concerns are shared with the CUPA Forum Board and state partners.

Northern California

Northern Region

Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo, and Yuba.

Coastal and Bay Area

Bay Area Region

Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma.

Central California

Central Region

Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, San Luis Obispo, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, and Tulare.

Southern California

Southern Region

Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.

Board Representation

Regional representation ensures that local agency perspectives are included in statewide Forum leadership.

Each region has six Board member positions elected by the membership of that region.

The California Conference of Directors of Environmental Health and the California Fire Chiefs Association each appoint one Board member.

Participating Agencies have two Board positions elected by the Participating Agencies.
